Following comments such as 'Noah's Ark' and a 'giant garden shed' the brickwork is now underway to cover the large wooden timber frame structure that forms the Ringwood Gateway building currently under construction in the Furlong car park.

The £2 million building will be home to converged services from the New Forest District Council, Hampshire County Council and Ringwood Town Council making a one-stop shop for the local community.

The new building will also house an information centre, public toilets and a ceremonies area.

Scheduled for completion and opening next spring, the work is currently going according to plan. The finished building will have a slate tiled roof and landscaped area and access for the public to use the garden areas.
