Drivers Warned of Potentially Icy Roads

Slight smatterings of sleet and snow have been seen across Dorset and Hampshire today - some settling for a while on higher grounds.

Whilst winter may not have arrived as yet with snowdrifts, we have seen temperatures significantly dropping in recent days with night time temperatures getting as low as  minus 4.

Police are warning motorists of the possibilities of black ice and are advising reduced speeds.

The area weather forecast for the next few days is a combination of wintry showers and sunshine.... so no snowmen just yet!
