Does anyone know what the plans are for the old Regal Cinema building? It looks so sad all boarded up and in a prime position.

It makes me really sad to see. My father actually ran the Regal Cinema when I was a child -and I have many happy memories of being with him in the screen room at the top of the stairs with all the giant projectors, and taking groups of friends to Saturday Children's Club!!

Anyone else remember those days? My Mum even had to help out on the ticket desk sometimes or selling ice creams if the usherette didn't turn up!!!! OMG - that makes me feel old :-(
