Hi Ringwood, does Steve Hare still run The Elm Tree Inn?

I left Ringwood over 30 years ago and was just wondering, (and feeling homesick)

Thanks Niki_B. I lived in Hightown Gardens so the Elm Tree was my local watering hole. Now I live in Niagara-on-the-Lake just outside Niagara Falls Ontario Canada. We really don't have "locals" like you do over 'ome.

There was a gang of us that hung out there and fished for trout in Fordingbridge, which included Steve Hare, Nigel Neeham, Mike Maines, Roger Pitcher, Terry Moule etc.

Anyway thank you for the reply.

Ha ha, well Niagara Falls is quite an upwards step to Ringwood. I've been to Niagara and although it rained the whole day and I was soaked to the bone, it was magnificent, . Stunning place, but in my expereince we hanker for places with memorable times associated and you definitely had that. Cheerio have a nice day
