I hope not! gypsies can't park up on a childrens playing field surely? That's a disgrace. I come from brighton and they are usually on one of the open fields on the outskirts of town, I have never heard of gypsies parking up on a playground. Thats not good, I will check this out.
very true!
Contractors left the gates open and in they went.
I have heard they have already been trying to rob trailers parked on drives, and anything that can move they will have.
They are not known for burglaring houses though which I suppose is one good thing.
The senior school has had to draw their curtains looking onto Carvers due to the place already being used as a toilet.
Lock up everything.
Are we judging them a bit? We don't know they are going to steal do we? However, I have been up there and there are lot of tire marks on the playing field where cars having clearly been wheel spinning and racing generally ruining the turf which is going to have to be sorted out by the council. I hope there is no trouble.
Town Councillors are calling for a review of how police handle travellers in the future. Councillors need to know why an immediate eviction order was not used, Police said at the time it was not necessary. As a result the town forks out a few thousand pounds in tax money to clear it up!
