Hampshire Police has confirmed that the front office at Ringwood police station is to close to the public on March 30th this year. Following an in depth review conducted last year between January and October, the usage of front desks at various police stations across the county has been assesed, leading to a number of closures. A31 Reopened Following Fatal Crash
The A31 fully reopened in the early hours following a serious accident which closed the road in both directions for several hours in Ringwood at the junction with the A338 last night. The accident involved four cars and occurred shortly before 6pm near the Ringwood flyover. The driver of a Daihatsu, believed to be a man in his 70's was later pronounced dead. Major delays and road closure - A31 - Ringwood
The A31 remains closed both directions at the junction of the A338 in Ringwood following the earlier accident. It is reported that the accident which occurred at around 18.30 this evening involved several vehicles, and may be a fatal incident. Long delays are reported, and it is expected that the road may remain closed for some time pending accident investigations. -
