A fantastic restaurant for fish or game - whichever you prefer it will be cooked to perfection and you can be assured you won't get a better meal for a better price in Ringwood, or the surrounding area. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here.

Somewhere to take your grandma.
If it's quaint and traditional you're looking for - then this is the right place. Packed with knick-knacks, lace and doileys. It wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea -but the food seems nice - and you can't fault the value. They are currently doing a 'recession buster' lunch deal - well worth checking out.

The building alone warrants five stars here!!! Oh my goodness, I just love it! Fourteenth centure thatched cottage place with really lovely English cuisine. It's all beautifully cooked, and everyone I know who's visited The Old Cottage Rastaurant has fallen in love with the food and ambience there, for good reason.

Excellent fish meals
This is a fantastic restaurant which uses only the freshest ingredients to create some fantastic food. The duck I had last time I was there was supurb, so moist and soft and delightful to eat, it practically melted in the mouth. When I used to work in the fish trade The Old Cottage Restaurant used to get his fish off of us, so I know how exacting he is when ordering. He only wants the best and with the Fish Inn just down the road every thing cooked here has to be spot on. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with any meal I've had here. Top restaurant, top chefs, top food. The best restaurant in Ringwood as far as I'm concerned.
